This enchanting musical comedy of manners is set in Sweden at the turn of the 20th century. The lawyer Fredrik has a young wife but is still drawn to his former mistress Desiree. His son Henrik, on the other hand, is attracted to his young stepmother. And Desiree's lover is caught between jealousy and affections for his own wife. The musical is a misadventure of romantic follies, all set to the waltzing music of Stephen Sondheim. The score features the hit song "Send in the Clown" and is filled with other lyrical gems as well. A sophisticated, adult musical like no other!

Tickets for the musicals go on sale one month before opening night at Jodi's Hallmark Shop ((607) 753-8325) on 15 Main Street in Cortland. The concerts are free and there are no tickets. Tickets for the plays in the Lab Theatre are on sale at the door only.
